awardSometimes we get recognized for our good work. In other instances, we win a contest to design a baseball card and we eventually hear about it 20 years later.

 

Joe buys a magazine on eBay and I realize – 20 years later – I won honorable mention in the Topps Design a Baseball Card contest.

 

 

Daniel Solzman of The Kentucky Democrat gives 100 Things the award for Best Basketball Book of the Year, as well as a tie for first place as best sports book of the year.

 

 

100 Things reaches No. 1 on bestseller lists across the state of Kentucky, including Carmichael’s and Joseph Beth.

 

In 2012 I was honored to become a Kentucky Colonel!

– Scripps Howard Top Ten Scholar

– Scripps Howard Top Five Most Valuable Staffers
